Brilliant video dude,learnt a lot,keep it up..🤘

On my Mavic 2 Air the “sideways flight NOT ALLOWED” is ON by default!
I turn it off so I can use joystick to fly sideways, but then it defaults back to on again!
How can I set the default to OFF?

AirSense is not on UK Mavic air 2 I think it's only on North America sets. Great video's Carlton keep them. coming

I followed your instruction for "Panorama, Sphere Mode", and the start button did not turn green, it stayed white. So I pushed the white button and the Mavic Air 2 started taking all of it's shots and started stitching them together too 100%. After landing it I checked on my Android phone and the "Panorama View" did not download. On the SD card It showed one photograph and it was all weird looking. Do you have any suggestions?

How do you get the Sphere Pano off the memory card as the Sphere? I am getting amazing ones thanks to you !! But only way I have figured out to get them off is to do screenshots they come off flat otherwise off the memory card. :(

MA2. I’ve only flown it once so far. I had target scanning turned off.
Every time I tried to draw a box around subject it goes into gimbal movement.
What am I doing wrong?
Remember, I’ve only flown it once and am learning.

You don't need HD transmission because any filming is done in your on board camera, you only need to see enough to fly the drone FPV if you're flying through your screen. Thus spare yourself the battery wastage transmitting an HD image.

Sadly, as of 2021 January 1, the new aircraft firmware ( 01.00.0511 ) and RC Firmware ( 02.00.1200 ) DOESN'T have the option for first setting suggested , the very useful AIRSENSE ( for avoiding other aircraft). I wonder why not ? Could it just be an Australian Federal Government issue ?

These are helpful tips since I am coming from the DJI GO platform. Of these, the ability to "Turn off" phone charging is a very welcome option. I was so annoyed that the Mavic Pro v1 controller battery would drain as fast as the gas tank on my old Camaro Z28. Bonus #2 is helpful too. Now, if you can only unlock the restricted Courselock and Waypoints so they are available outside of using Hyperlapse that would be awesome !

I could imagine to use a long USB cable to get the phone off of your controller and hand it to an assiastant. The assiastant controls the gimbal and the pilot it fly by eyes sight or also looking at the screen. Or you mirror you phone onto at laptop or tablet.

I found something new the other day.if you lock on a subject&then use your yaw left stick you can control gimbal with your left stick but only as far as keeping subject on screen.But still handy if drone loses auto track on subject you can still manual yaw with left stick whilst moving up& down with wheel as usual.when it's an unrepeatable shot& you dont want to miss action.Just a little FYI,give it a try.

Help, help. I have a new Mavic Air 2. I flew it perfectly right out of the box...love this drone. Flew 6 times, the next day, the app literally would Not recognize the controller or drone. Called tech support twice, deleted and reloaded app, updated all firmware, etc....no luck! I have the fly more combo and $1100 later, a drone in the carrying case that I cannot even use. Any suggestions appreciated....so disappointed. Purchased Oct. 7, 2020, given to me as a gift end of Oct. Called tech support 2 weeks ago. Just so disappointed with service for this drone

Just noticed if you have subject scanning on for locking onto a person for convenience, then the free gimbal will not work. Turn off subject scanning as it is now called rather than target scanning and free gimbal works again. Their both good to have but for now we have to choose one.
This may be because I’m not flying but I do have controller and drone on and this is what I’m finding out.

MY biggest problem that I am having with my Air 2 is trying to draw a big enough box around me or a friend in order to do quick shots. Maybe I’m doing it wrong. I touch screen then pinch and expand but most the time the box isn’t big enough for the controller to accept and will disappear then I have to try once again to get it to “recognize” me for quick shots.
Am I doing this correctly?

What’s the amp/hr capacity of the controller battery that you can charge your phone? Is it self-limiting? You wouldn’t want it to keep charging as you were controlling for video or a return... with a 30 min flight time, how much phone charge do you need?

Appears the battery charging control function was removed with the latest rc firmware update, 2.00.1101.

funny how they removed several options from the screen...and APAS is off by default... it's not like they want to you to crash your uav so you have to buy a new one... or is it? besides that they launched it without the upper and side sensors to make People that want additional protection to get the MP2
