Was wondering if you knew how to set up your current location, in the Smart Controller, when you go into the “fly zone” maps, so that it just comes up as showing your current position when you click onto the map. When I go into mine, it always defaults to Washington DC area. Thx

The reason why the drone didn't land at the exact position where it took off when you pressed the RTH button is because you made a mistake at takeoff, when taking off, when GPS is locked, you have to raise the drone at about 30feet height and stay there for 10secs for the drone to take a photo of the exact psition where it took off, you didn't do that, you immediately went away, if you've done this procedure it would land at the exact same position whre it took off. Cheers.

im going stick with my bebop 2, the camera is way better, the camera lets me point up, down, left, and right, in that dji video here, as you test out avoidance as the drone stop from hiting you, the camera shake alot, bebop 2 wouldnt have done that. but i still love your reviews, amazing that the dji mavic pro 2 hasn't come down in price.

Hey Dustin love your videos. Im debating between a mavic mini and a mavic air 2, mainly with the part about registering with the faa. I have a fishing channel and would like to add some cool drone shots to add some perspective. If I go with the mavic air 2, and am going to use the footage I capture in my youtube videos, would I have to register the drone as a commercial drone? Or can I just register as recreational? Im looking online and getting mixed answers. Would it be better to just go with the mini since I can avoid this whole headache? Thanks in advance :D

Sport mode gets up and Hammers hey?!! I use the Mavic Pro platinum (and simply adore what it does and the really low noise is a huge bonus!) but love DJI products, With things going the way they are they might actually save the hobby/sport.

Hey Dustin buddy you can turn the adapter around so the ball socket is more towards/closer to your body...!!! This would allow you to also see the screen on the controller...!!! It may also feel more balanced in your hands.....just sayin. Peace to you and enjoy the toy...!!! I'm about $100.00 DoLLaRs AWAY from my first drone....it will be the Mavic Air 2 in black...!!! I'm really really really psyched about getting it. Listen to me @ 60yrs. old and in a nursing home here in N.J. after I had a stroke...!!! Almost 50 years a mechanic and still love my toy's LoL

But, the DJI mavic air's controller is different.

Why is there no video display embedded in the controller?

Power goes down by 1% every 10 seconds. Is that typical for this quality drone?

Dustin, this is the 2nd time I have watched this video. The Mavic Air 2 has come out and you have reviewed it and dome a range test (awesome long). Ok in all honesty Mavic 2 Pro or Mavic Air 2? One drawback for me is the codec .265 on the Air 2. I'd need to upgrade my computer, more ram needed.

My biggest disappointment was when the Mavic 2 Pro fell just out of the sky into the atlantic ocean and for no apparent reason ( fully charged battery / 8min flight time ). Before I lost a Phantom 4 to the ocean. So I'm a bit sour about DJI and that hobby is getting a bit expensive.

CON: If the app won't install on the phone then the Mavic becomes a useless paperweight. I had to send mine back for refund.
