I don't have a phone, so what should I look to get if I'm only interested in one for this drone (don't want one for normal phone usage). Also, where I live in remote Alaska there is very poor to no cell phone connectivity. Does this matter?

You are using your phone to connect to the drone via wifi,but what if someone calls you on your phone while you are flying it? Will the wifi connection break?

Hi. Very nice tutorial. Have you come across the problem of not being able to connect a drone to the controller? Well, I've just purchased a mini 2 fly more combo. Well, I'm having that problem. I've just followed how you reconnect to the hand controller.
But all I get is "Connect aircraft" But It is Connected. The screen is blank with red lettering saying "Connect aircraft". The strange thing is. I can actually move the Gimbal up and down with the wheel on the controller. So it is connected. Wouldnt you think? I have read that DJI had a batch of Bad cables. That was causing the problem. I've been wrestling with this problem for a week before Christmas. You see.I had the same problem with the previous new Nini 2. So I returned it to the store. And replaced it with another without question.
Now I'm on Mini 2 number 2. I've got exactly the same issue. I've used the method of holding down those buttons on the controller. and holding the on the button for four 4 seconds. It still doesn't want to fly. what am I not doing? I was told this drone will work virtually straight out of the box. Not in my case. Please help ed. I'm a retired guy in the UK. And it's doing my head in

I picked up a Fart-Watch. It works best without the battery in it.

12:11 might be a good time to mention that if you have a 32bit Android phone the DJI app is incompatible and it won't work. You have to have a 64 bit operating system on your phone. DJI has no plans to rectify this. Otherwise good video.

I’m having trouble connecting the RC to the drone. I have mini 2 and have been through all the tutorials. Also not showing that there is a sd card but it’s in the drone. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Only 4 GPS satellites need minimum. Three for global positioning and the 4th for elevation.

Wrong! 250+ grams does not require Certificate everywhere. To monetized your videos in whatever capacity then YES. 250+ Drones in the US does require Registration and a Part 107 Certificate (Trained) is not required unless youre making money from your videos.

I'll be opening mine christmas eve. I really don't understand about the 3 batteries charging at the same time. So, I guess you don't really know how long it would take to charge all 3 batteries at the same time. any swags? {Sophisticated Wild A$$ Guess}?

Be WARNED!!! It does not work with lots of android devices, eg Samsung A10, Amazon Fire HD, ASUS ZEN PAD 10 to mention a few. No mention on the box, disgraceful. They seem to want to force you to buy an Apple iPhone. Sort it out DJI!! There's going to be a lot of unhappy people this Christmas, it's bad enough dealing with the pandemic !!!

Love this tutorial. I’m looking into getting either the mavic mini or mini 2. This may seem a weird question but when in the air and you turn the drone around facing you and you want to bring the drone back do you push the right stick towards you or away?

Just ordered my first drone the mini 2 and have 2 questions for you. Do you turn off your phone or controller first when shutting down?
And how do you storage charge the lipo batteries? Is there a storage mode in the charger or do you have to drain them to 50%?
