Awesome show, love hearing Phil talk games. I made my decision for XBOX back in November 2001 had never wavered since. Phil did and doing so above and beyond for XBOX GAMERS YES, but also for the entire gaming industry and apparently that thankfully includes Gamestop/EBGames. Phil lead in the innovations that brought us XBOXONE S AND X And Now The Mighty XBOX SERIES S AND X. I'll say, ill be getting an XBSX, but from the get go now, I upgraded in the last few weeks to a Asrock mb Ryzen 7 3700X MSI 2070Super 16GRam3000 Water 💧 CoolerMaster. I love that all my XB1X ventures carry right over to the PC as well as XBOX GAMEPASS / PC GAMEPASS that carries many of the games I started in XBGP... yes it is ALL ON MY ANDROID TOO. MY SAMSUNG S20 with XBOX GAMES ON IT LOOKS AND PLAYS AMAZING AND IT ALL CAME AT NO EXTRA COST.. FRIGGIN HIGH FIVE AND HAND SHAKES WITH A BACK SHOULDER SLAP FOR PHIL SPENCER.
XBOX ECOSYSTEM IS THE BEST PLACE TO PLAY GAMES, O' you and I we know there tons more Phil has done like the Bethesda acquisition etc.
Right One Phil, I also love that the XBOX Launches have all been in November, my birthday month, day.. November 15... yes same day as the first ever XBOX to grace gamers. HALO MUNCH And PROJECT GOTHAM RACING among my first games.

Phil Spencer truly is the videogame dad we need but honestly don't deserve. He's the rare corporate head with no corporate vibe. Reggie Fils'Aimé was also a very charismatic figurehead in the gaming industry but he always maintained a serious corporate vibe. Phil is just something different, I've always enjoyed his extended interviews with Giant Bomb every E3 (who knows if that's coming back). As a PC gamer, I'm super grateful for Microsoft bringing their XBOX exclusives to PC and I'm pretty sure it's mostly thanks to Phil Spencer. Thank you Sir, we are not worthy.

You could solve preorders by offering them first to people through unique gamertag messages on their xbox accounts. Solves the bot and scalper problems and keeps your community happy.

I'm a PlayStation guy, but Phil seems like an insanely nice person and seems to actually care for what's most important in this industry, the games. There should be more people like him in the industry.

I may not be a big fan of Microsoft or Xbox by any means. Been shafted by them too many times, but Phil has kinda always seemed like a cool guy. Always nice seeing that there are passionate people like him over there.

Not many peole understand the genius behind xbox... or how its secretly winning all this time all while seeming like the "underdog" and "good guy". I'm not a youtuber but i feel like i should make a video on it.

I had an X Box Series X on my microsoft account to purchase in my cart for 5 days , I had the order number and then it vanished . I had to do with a PS5 digital pre order that I had to pay upfront and my order had no strange issues as I had with the microsoft pre order .

From this interview I just learned about the Bethesda deal. Woah. I've always said Phil Spencer and Pete Hines are some of the most valuable people we have in the gaming community. I'm glad they get to work together. Phil said it best - the word is "inclusive". Microsoft used to be this very closed minded, rigid policy company, but in recent years they open up more and more. They are redeeming themselves for all the things they used to be hated in the past.

Phil made Xbox relevant again.
They now have a Momentum, good PR, well thought decisions, a big game library combined with Gamepass, exciting New next gen Hardware/Features, the list goes on and on. Oh and Bethesda.

Im now remembered why i give xbox a shot next gen.
Ps4 was my first console and it was pretty meh... the ps+ service is really lackluster and by time unreachable (in austria). Im not an jrpg fan, first party games like last of us was also questionable...
On the other hand with gamepass inexile, obsidian and bethesda i feel as an rpg fan im in the right hands there.

Phil is just an amazing individual within the gaming industry and we should keep him for as long as possible.
He is so positive and grounded, which we are seemlingly losing people of more and more as time goes on.

Phil Spencer a good man but a liar!

Unpopular Opinion - I don’t think there should be a Fallout: New Vegas 2. I would rather them remaster and add to the New Vegas... Update the graphics, update the combat, have mod support, add a large DLC that takes place after the main campaign, and make the world a little more interesting (New Vegas’s world did not feel as large or diverse as Fallout 3’s I imagine because of time restraints). If they did all of this, then people would probably not want a Fallout New Vegas 2.

Ok ... I'm 40 years old and my dad worked in IT - so I've had computers in my life since I was 4 years old. I've followed this industry since I could barely read and I basically learned English from a very young age because I'm so fascinated by it. This guys... This was... the best interview I've ever seen! Good and well thought out questions - including some deeper ones which many people in the industry would give some BS corporate answer to, however Phil answered like a freaking champ! Phil did amazing - you guys did amazing... This was just simply 10/10. Fun, informative and honest.
Phil please come back and do this again as soon as possible - This was fucking amazing! (sorry for cursing but - it just fits in right there!)
Also - that Bladerunner "ENHANCE" comment was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while Cohh! You do have your moments! JP zooming was already hilarious but man ... that hit the spot for me! :-D

Cohh one thing though - with the stab at FO76 - how come you didn't take one at Fallout 1st? I mean - at least it would soften the blow if it was "removed" and everyone got the weightless scrap storage when we get bamboozled by our nostalgia for Fallout and go "Was FO76 really that bad" and reinstall it. That freaking banner just cuts deep into my soul every time I see it. A subscription in this freaking game and many of us already payed 60€/$ for it ... maaannn that should NOT be there! ... Maybe next interview ehy? :-D
